Kurt Vonnegut (November 11, 1922 - April 11, 2007) was an American writer of post World War II period. In his literary works Vonnegut combines fiction, reality, black humor, satire, and concerns about the future of the mankind. Vonnegut published his novel writing debut "Utopia 14" when he was 30. He wrote forty-four novels, and "Slaughterhouse-Five, or The Children's Crusade: A Duty-Dance with Death" is the most reprinted work.
